Intelligent LMA

Details of Dami Intelligent LMA

Pressure Monitoring Technology: An integrated pressure sensor is incorporated into the laryngeal mask airway or its connecting components to accurately monitor the pressure within the LMA cuff in real-time. This pressure information is transmitted to a portable display device for visualization and analysis. This technology assists medical staff in promptly adjusting the cuff pressure, thereby preventing complications such as airway mucosal damage due to excessive pressure or inadequate ventilation and aspiration risk caused by insufficient pressure.

Capnography Technology: Equipped with a CO2 sensor, this technology monitors the carbon dioxide concentration in the patient’s exhaled breath. The data is presented on the display device both as numerical readings and in the form of real-time, dynamically scrolling waveforms. This aids in verifying the successful placement of the LMA and assessing the patient’s respiratory status, thereby providing more comprehensive information for airway management.

Data Transmission and Communication Technology: Utilizing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or similar protocols, this technology enables the fast and stable transmission of data from sensors and cameras on the LMA to the portable display device. By eliminating the constraints of wired connections, it facilitates flexible operation and movement for medical staff during surgical procedures, while also enhancing the device’s portability and ease of use.

Innovative Points

Intelligent Anomaly Detection and Alerting: The system can automatically analyze the collected data and images, detect various abnormal situations during LMA ventilation in real-time, and issue timely alerts and reminders. This reduces the workload of medical staff and lowers the risk of anesthesia-related incidents due to human oversight, providing particularly strong support for less experienced physicians.

Portability and Multifunctional Integration: Multiple functions such as data monitoring, analysis and processing, and alerting are integrated into a single portable device. With its small size and light weight, it is convenient for medical staff to carry and operate. The device can be flexibly placed on the surgical table or hung at the bedside, occupying minimal space, and is easy to deploy and use quickly across different surgical scenarios.
